FRONTIER ROUTE

Welcome to the frontier route !

By creating a fishing route between Italy and France through the "INTERREG ALCOTRA" general project, Alpes-Maritimes and Imperia fishermen created a new dynamics for tourist cooperation.

The "no kill" frontier route is fly fishing only.

Species : Fario trout.

This route has secured accesses, and markers to guide fishermen on the river sides.

REGULATION

• Owning a French fishing card for the French side and an Italian fishing card for the Italian side.
• The route is open from the 15th of April to the 3rd Sunday of September (included).
• Every caught fish must be freed in the best possible conditions.
• The hooks must be barbless.
• Streamers are forbidden - nets are advised.

WARNING : difficult courses on access #5, #6, #7 and #8 - easier on #4. All accesses are secured. Fishing possible on the whole course : river crossed on #4 and #5 (Waders advised).
